In the past two days from April 14 to April 15, within the framework of the visit and work on environmental protection models in Hanoi, organized by the Center for Environment and Community Research (CECR), the Center for Living and Learning for the Environment and Community (Live & Learn), Center for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) and co-organized with the Global Program Clean Cities, Blue Ocean (CCBO), the delegation participated a workshop on sharing about the Environmental City Project in order to support the ‘’Building Da Nang - Environmental City’’ project implementation for the period 2021 to 2030. 

Da Nang's delegation includes 23 representatives who are leaders of this city’ s Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Education and Training as well as Division of Natural Resources and Environment of 07 districts and leaders of People's Committees of Da Nang wards or communes. 

During the initial working day, the officials went to visit and learn from experience in implementing models and initiatives on sustainable residential development, organic and agricultural waste treatment along with green schools in Dong Anh district and Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi. These are successful models and initiatives playing an important role in helping the capital strongly promote environmental protection, climate change adaptation. 

On the second working day, at Hoa Binh Hotel (Hanoi), the delegation had a meeting aiming at sharing and mobilizing resources to support the implementation of the "Building Da Nang - Environmental City" project in the 2021 - 2030 period with CECR, CCBO, GreenHub, Live&Learn partners. In addition, the delegation worked with partners to review the progress of each specific project and implementation plan in the coming time. 

The representative of CECR, Ms. Doan Vu Thao Ly gave a presentation about the project "Collective actions for water conservation" being implemented in Da Nang, which is an important project having specific goals to support "Building Da Nang - Environmental City" and was highly appreciated by the Da Nang Department of Natural Resources and Environment. 

At the end of the conference, the delegation from Da Nang summarized and shared about the visit and work in Hanoi, recapitulate the experiences to successfully implement the "Building Da Nang - Environmental City" project.
