In the morning of November 16, the Center for Environment and Community Research (CECR) held a meeting to discuss and exchange research outlines to contribute to the development and implementation of the revised Law on Water Resources located in the area within the framework of the CAWACON project. Attending the meeting were experts from VIWACON network and members of the Research Management Council: Mr. Truong Manh Tien, Chairman of the Council, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hung, Vice Chairman of the Council; Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Ly, Member of the Council; Mr. Dao Trong Tu, Member of the Council; Mr. Hoang Duong Tung, Member of the Council; Mr. Ngo Huy Liem, Member of the Council; representatives of two research groups and members of the Board of Directors and members of CECR.

Representative of the research group on the topic of information transparency and the role of the community in water conservation, Ms. Thuc Anh presented the research outline with the goal of contributing to the completion of the draft law and creating a legal corridor. protect the river basin, uphold the role of the community in water conservation, contribute to the transparency of information to support the exchange and coordination among stakeholders.
Next, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong representing the research group on water recycling and reuse in Vietnam, focusing mainly on production activities in industrial parks, presented the research outline with the focus on studying practical experiences, reviewing policy analysis, practical lessons and then making recommendations for the revised Law on Water Resources.

The two research groups were given comments, suggestions and clarifications by the Management Board of difficulties, financial requirements, and related information.
At the end of the meeting, the research groups committed to supplement and edit according to the comments and refer to similar studies to implement effective research and related activities in the near future.
