On the afternoon of February 28, 2023, at the 2nd-floor hall, Da Nang City Youth Union, 71 Xuan Thuy Street, Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang Youth Union held a meeting. consulted on the implementation plan of the initiative "Communities join hands to protect water sources and improve the landscape of Phu Loc river in Thanh Khe district", the initiative is within the framework of the project "Join hands to protect water resources," which is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Center for Environmental and Community Research in collaboration with implementation partners.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Le Cong Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Danang Youth Union, and attended by representatives of leaders of the Center for Environmental and Community Research (CECR); the People's Committee of Thanh Khe district, Thanh Khe Dong, and Thanh Khe West wards; Border Guard Station 248; the Da Nang Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company, Da Nang Urban Environment Company. 

The purpose of the meeting is to: report on the current state of the environment with a map of environmental hotspots that need to be treated and rehabilitated; report on public awareness and current environmental protection activities in the city; Thereby, making a proposal for an action plan to implement the model and agreeing on detailed tasks, plans, and implementation methods for the stakeholders.
