Capacity Building Training for VIWACON members and partners

From May 25 to July 9, 2021, VIWACON Network organized a series of 5 weeks of online training on various topics for VIWACON network members and partners to strengthen and support capacity building for organizations in implementing effective water conservation initiatives.

 

 

Students are provided with applied knowledge of Leadership skills; Emotional intelligence; Applying MBTI in classifying personality patterns to effectively manage people.

 

 

Students are provided with and applied knowledge of Proposal Writing Skills; Six thinking hats; abilities to prepare work reports.

 

 

Students are provided with knowledge about Surface Water Science; Water pollution in Vietnam and its water management system; Inadequacies in the legal system on water pollution control; Experiences of other countries in controlling water pollution: USA, China, Korea; and Community participation in water resource protection.

 

 

Students are provided and applied knowledge about the importance of communication in the project; Basic communication concepts; Steps to planning and implementing a communication activity; Some communication methods and tools (photovoice and storytelling); and Basic photography techniques.

 

 

Students are provided with and applied knowledge about fundraising methods; Classify and locate future donors; Fundraising orientation; Fundraising and resource mobilization steps (processes) or principles; and How to maintain relationships with sponsors.

 

 

 

In particular, in order to look back on the five successful weeks of training and continue to have activities to share and connect with CECR partners and VIWACON members, the Certificate Award Program for members/delegates and was held on August 12, 2021, to connect and share with NGOs/CSOs about the vision, mission and long-term strategy of the Vietnam Water Conservation Network (VIWACON).
